This song is funny with Korean children's song that has this line "Monkey's butt is red, which is about red color.
I just hope you have fun.
I love your blog and I can't wait for next update :D
Thank you so much for your support. I hope you like today's update - Shinee's View
안녕하세요! 노래를 설명해서 감사합니다. But I don't understand how "버릴지" is used. Is it a form of the verb 버리다? Then how can it have the meaning of "gonna"?
Please refer to Grammar No.24
It is a connective ending used in the first clause and corresponds to (who/ what/ where/ when/ how/ whether + Clause in English. So the next clause usually follows with 알다 (to know) , 모르다(not to know), 궁금하다( to be curious) and the like.
When you want to say " I don't know if I am gonna change right now " , You should make ' change' into a future form. For future tense verbs, when the stem ends in a consonant, add 을 지. When ending in a vowel or ㄹ, add ㄹ 지.
변해 버리다: to change - > 변해 버릴 지
That's why it becomes 나 지금 변해 버릴 지 몰라. ( 나: I , 지금: now, 몰라: don't know)
I hope it helps and thank you for visiting my blog .
Yes, I get the grammar now, thanks. But isn't "to change" just "변하다"? Why is "버리다" used then? BTW, your blog is awesome!!!
Please refer to Grammar No. 56 - 아/어/해 버리다
변하다 means ' to change' like you said, but by conjugating it and adding '버리다' , we emphasize the meaning. There are some verbs that go well with 버리다. For example,
쓰다 ( to use ) -> 써 버리다 : to use up
가다 ( to go ) - > 가 버리다 : to be gone ( to go away)
Thank you for your support. ^_^
Oh, ok. Thank you very much :)
